I am halfway through building "Eduards's Siemens Schuckert D III", and
being the klutz I am I have managed to store the Photo etch part's of one
of the spandaus on the floor. So does anyone have any sugestions as to
who makes the best after market replacements.
While I'm on the subject of Photo etch parts what does everyone think of
the fold up cockpit's that "Eduard" puts in their models.
Do you build them straight from the box, or stengthen them with plastic
strip.
Are some of the parts like the pushrods better done in plastic, ie they
look somewhat flat. Not being critical just wondered what others do.
Oh yes someone was asking about Biggin Hill, its about 20 miles south of
London, and was one of the main Aerodrome's used by 11 group during the
Battle of Britain. Pre war and post war it was an RAF base and the site
of many Air displays. As far as I know it's still an operational base.
