Be like John Wayne and Victor Mclaglen in 'The Quiet Man' or John Wayne and
Lee Marvin in Gilligan's Island. And that other Wayne film 'North
to Alaska' Some of the best fights ever committed to celluloid, and no one
ever really got
hurt.

Bud sez ''Wish we could all get togfether for a show sometime'' Isn'[t
Ascension Island(?) roughly roughly half way across the pond, probably makes
it the ideal location, Bud. Easiest for every one to get to. In all
seriousness it's been great seeing your excellent work here and it would
be some show. What a drunken punch up later when the subjects of
pre-shading and weathering come up in a debate in the bar after the
show.

of sounding like I'm making an Oscars acceptance speech, I'm going to try as
best I can to thank all of you for all your help over the past few
months. It's only been since July that I've been back at modelling and I
joined GWICC in August. During that time I've built 7 models and with
each one I've applied newly learned techniques and my skills have improved,
thanks to all of you. Individually, I'd like to thank Paul, Ross and
Nico for getting me excited about Karaya kits with their inspirational
builds. Thanks to Brad, Paul, Sanjeev, Tom and many more for new
techniques. Thank you Dennis, J.R., Gabe and Mike (the locals) for
support and encouragement. Thanks to Aidrian and Douglas for coming to
the rescue with timely research. Thanks to Kerry for photo tips (now I
finally have photo size right). Thank you Allan and Sanjeev for
all your hard work maintaining this site. Thanks to Rob, Nick, Eric,
Merrill, Jim, Neil, Dave, Stephen and everyone else who's kind words and
advice I've put to use. Sorry if I missed anyone, but this Thank You
really goes out to the entire list. No, I'm not dying or anything, at
least not yet, I'm just feeling very appreciative. I just wish we could
all get together for a show sometime.
