Hello,

I tried to post this question about a week ago and I don't believe it =
got sent to the correct list? Here is the question.

Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

Hello,

I am looking to identify a Fokker DVII that I am interested in modeling =
in 1/4 scale. The airplane in question I only have blurry colored, =
internet depictions of. I haven't seen it in any of my anthology issues =
so I figured I would ask the experts in this group. I have been unable =
to identify it.

The plane appears to be covered in lozenge with a gold and black =
striped or yellow and black striped tail plane. This is on the top and =
bottom sides of the tail plane. The crosses are thick bodied like those =
that were modified from the early style cross in the field. The engine =
covers and radiator seem to be silver or grey on both sides. N struts =
are the same in grey or silver. The top wing has a large triangle of =
yellow or gold color in the middle section pointing forward and taking =
up the entire wing cord in size. There is a large white "A" on both fuse =
sides just behind the cockpit and the bottom wing underside is painted =
entirely in yellow or gold. The undercarriage subwing is painted the =
same on the bottom side with lozenge on the top side.

I don't know if this is a real plane or not but if it is, it is =
striking and I would like to model it. I need to identify it and have =
pictures for my documentation if I am going to compete in an AMA scale =
qualifier with it next year. I have seen the detail this group puts into =
its models and have been impressed with the knowledge of many of this =
groups members. I have seen some interesting airplanes in your links. If =
anyone can assist me or point me in the right direction it would be =
greatly appreciated.=20
