Thanks, J.R.!  Those are just fine wire twisted around black painted tape.  Pretty simple, really.

    Bud, that is a terrific looking Rumpler. There are even hose clamps on the radiator hoses!
     
     Every surface looks convincing. Nice to see an unusual subject done so superbly.
