You need to use more thinner, or an oil medium (like Liquin) to speed drying. For figures, I use a 'drying box', basically a small plywood box with a 60watt filament bulb (for heat) generally this will dry oils in 8 hours or so, but the oils need to be thinned adequately.

I used oil paints on an off-topic armor kit to give a sort of fading and variation of tone effect. It looks OK but 2 days later, it's not dry. How long does this take to dry?
