The footage of the Huey Cobra AH-1G helicopter gunship also caught my eye: … http://imageevent.com/okbueno/mopic?p=141&n=1&m=-1&c=10&l=0&w=4&s=0&z=2

My first job out of college in 1967 was with Emerson Electric Electronics & Space Division in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

Emerson was mass producing the second generation of chin gun turrets for the Cobra. … The one in the video that could accommodate two mini guns or two 40mm grenade launchers or one of each. … The gunner could aim it by looking through a moveable gunsight and the turret would follow the gunsight.

It was great fun to go to the firing range (on business) and see the guns fire.

(Back under my rock now)
