[WWI] Which airplane would you fly?

There is an old story, probably untrue, but still ... , about a French pilot, who had a trap door put in his plane, and his flight suit, so that when the castor oil fumes got to him, he would fly over the German trenches to drop his load. Very Gallic humor.
