                Even though we on this list may be geographically-challenged about state capitals, the question of the pronunciation of Louisville prompted a quick check with a friend who's originally from there.  Thus I have it on good authority that it's pronounced "Low-vul." 

                Or is he too-long gone (in more ways than one) to remember...?
