I¹ll take the hint. I have an M7 vacform in the stash somewhere. What is
the difference between an M7 and an M10?
regards
Steve
nb 2 Chancer. The wings are on and aligned, but warming the top wing in hot
water to get the dihedral right has put a white bloom on the paint. Looks
much like a grape, but it won¹t rub off :(

Subject: [WWI] Unique AH B.I ?
Last week there was the discussion about early AH red/white stripe
combinations, which also led me to point out that the Osprey "eindeckers"
were in fact Fokker B.I biplanes...anyways, a few fellow list members
(sorry, I don't recall who) had mentioned they were going to go ahead and
build the AH Fokker B.I and so I wanted to share this pic. It's an AH B.I
(M.10) with what may possibly be unique (?) markings: Very broad upper wing
stripes in white/red/white with the black cross centered on TOP of the RED
stripe...under magnification you can see the cross more clear...but no doubt
that when seen from any distance the crosses would of been nearly
unrecognizable. Also note the rudder in red/white halves with the cross
painted on top. Anyways, would make for an interesting B.I build (hint hint)
and shows how AH personnel took quite a few liberties in the field in
regards to application of markings.
