Thanks for all the kind words chaps.

Not on the photos is a railway flat truck for it to sit on, as shown in one
of the pictures in the Albatros Fighters in Action. My intention is to
display it sitting on that.

Nick, the cdl is games workshop bleached bone base coat, the ribs then
painted in white, then a Future/Klear-thinned top coat of bleached bone with
maybe a little grey mixed in. The undersides have the ribs and spars marked
with brown blendable pencil(crayon?) before the top coat.
Floats and struts are Misterkit Albatros Pale Green.
What I didn¹t do was shade the cross through the top wing like you did on
the Brandenburg.

Paul,Dennis, the photos are posed to hide the worst of the wobbly lines on
the prop. I suppose having made one from laminated veneer for my Ago C.I
last year I¹m not so pleased with my painting efforts now.

regards
Steve

Hi, Steve.
A beautiful little Albatros. The wood fuselage looks superb.
Is the cdl your own mix or a specific tin/bottle/pot from humbrol or someone
else? Might I also ask what colour you painted the floats and struts, again,
is it your own mix or a specific colour? I notice freightdog are doing a
deal on these and other Pegasus kits, and looking at your build it makes
them a really tempting buy. Love it!

Best Regards,

Nick.
