Thanks for the comments, as you can imagine the Avro F wasn't one of the
easiest kits to build. Firstly there was an awful lot of preparation
work involved, for instance all the windows were metal and needed
cutting out and shaping, plus it's more difficult to drill holes in
white metal with a twist drill. As you can imagine the kit itself is
reasonably basic so there was alot of scrtchbuilding work to do,
especially inside. The undercarriage parts that came with the kit are to
soft to take the weight of the model so these had to be replaced with
items scratchbuilt from brass rod and strutz, which were soldered
together for strength. I am possibly the worlds worst exponent of the
soldering iron. So, not an easy kit to build at all; even if it only
initialy has 9 or 10 pieces. 

BTW; if you hadn't realised the severe angle of the wheels is an attempt
to mimic the original and not due to the weight of the model.
