Allan,

I came across the following site :

http://www.wwi-models.org/Photos/Collections/TedWolf/

. . and was searching for some pictures of Sopwith Pups.

There are a couple of pictures there, about which you may want to pass
the following information, to Ted.

Picture 1-C-07-1 : This is picture of a flightline of aircraft, but the
one in the foreground is an early Camel. The one behind it is definitely
a Pup, as I think is the next. Beyond that I cannot be sure.

Picture 1-C-07-3 : This is a picture of a Sopwith Dove. The rear seat is
set further back than a single seat and the decking/cowling has been
altered to accept another seat. The fuel tank was moved to the floor
under a seat (not sure which one . . the front I think) and a wind
driven fuel pump was added. This was Sopwiths' attempt to market a
civilianised military aircraft after the armistice, which was not
successful.

My interest is specifically Pups, as I am helping to restore an original
1917 Standard Motors built example (B1807 now G-EAVX) to airworthy
condition.

I hope this is of use.

Regards,

Nick Carey-Harris
