Ah, yes, the MPC years!
Their version of the Avro 504 had red/white/blue "roundels" in the shape of flowers, plus "bird wing" markings like the Hannover, as well as more realistic offerings for an AFC trainer.
Flowers were also included on the Hannover sheet, but as I remember I used the spades with crossbones instead. With no lozenge sheets available that I knew of (1970?), I tediously hand painted "lozenge" on the model.

I should have looked first, I meant the hex lozenge. I have one sheet from an old MPC kit, scan attached. I was hoping the new kits had it, as you can see, my only one is pretty beat up.
