Nice to see, Dennis.
My first ever kit as a 9 or 10 year old was an Airfix Dr.1. Plastic was a lurid red, paintwork became polystyrene cement melt and camo whorls were my fingerprints.
That was over 50 years ago and, even though no two wings were parallel, the stabiliser was a good days march from horizontal and the mini undercart wing was arse-up'ards, I was hugely proud of it. Even if one wheel did keep escaping.
So I hope that the one you have yet to add to your magnificent page is an Airfix kit. I don't know which came first, Airfix or Revell (if either), but if your final one isn't an Airfix offering, maybe you might like to think about adding one to your collection. To give it a rounded, complete kind of feeling.
Thanks for sharing.
Chris.
