Subject: [WWI] New member and his interests

Hello all,and Clare.
The last time i made a model was a sierra vac form AEG twin seater, any way the wings drooped. Then i had a break from this and pursued my art career, and many other distractions. Now i have come back to the hobby, along with a computer, and im overwhelmed by the sea of people into what im into.Today i have ordered a complete etch for my roden Gotha 5 and a new Fredrichtstraffen sea plane and etches,I have just seen the wing nut kits (wow).I love the obscure types of aircraft, and anything with lots of rigging and odd funny bits poking out here and there, all pre war stuff.I love the bombers, especially the Italian and french stuff, the elegant seaplanes, and the ugly ducklings normally British? What I find least interesting is the ever repetative old favourites of which there are so many.I have spent this weekend reading,no devouring internet modeller, and alreeady im lamenting at all the beautiful unuasual kits no longer available. Above all i have really
enjoyed looking at everybodies work, what a feast and encouragement to try to do my best to something comparable, ultimately something that could win a static display, then fly of the board.Dream on.
