Wow, Bill, that's quite a dogfight you've got going there!
Do they ever clunk into each other? It looks like you have a few 2-seaters in the mix; how do you get those to balance?
What do your co-workers think of the planes?

Subject: [WWI] How I display my models
Here's a link to a picture on how I display my models:
http://home.earthlink.net/~billkaja/images/mobile.jpg
I have thirty-two 1/72 scale models hanging in a mobile over my desk at work. The models are a mix of Revell, Airfix, Toko, Roden, Eduard, and Olimp kits. The models occupy a volume of space about 5 feet by 4 feet, and 30 inches of height.
Apologies for the sub-par picture-- the planes are constantly moving in the office HVAC air currents, the lighting isn't too good, and the camera's flash made for some harsh shadows.
The mobile is assembled with fishing swivels, so each trio of planes is a separate module. The entire mobile (less the two long sticks) fits in a pair of cardfboard copier paper boxes for storage and transport. I made a series of trays from some soft foam to hold each plane safely and securely in place.
I was going for the effect of a cloud of aircraft -- and it works.
