Thank you, Eric.  This was my first attempt at pre-shading and I agree it was heavy.  The weather here has been pretty wet so I did it with Tamiya spray cans.   The EPA is probably monitoring this and will be breaking down my door any minute.  Gotta go.

Very nice build of this special plane. I like the way you highlight the 
wing ribs, even if it is a little bit too much to my taste. 
May be it is because of the pictures. 
Any picture of the interior of the cockpit ?
