Don's question is an important one--what to do with all of
those unbuilt kits (not the completed ones on our shelves). As for myself,
my will has provision for my WWI library ($50,000 worth): Mike Carr, my WWI
history buddy and fellow OTF member, gets first crack at anything he wants.
The remainder goes to the League, to be sold or given away to raise funds
for the organization or serve as prizes for various activities. I'm due to
revise my will soon and I will be adding my stash to the bequest. I should
think that the League could appoint someone to run sales in order to make a
little income for the organization.

(As to completed models, a number of years ago I moved to Panama for six
years and donated my model collection to the Oakland Airport, where they
were on display for some time, but now have gone "the way of all flesh
(plastic)."
