I think it's the same book that I have in English, Italian Aces of World War One and Their Aircraft, by Roberto Gentilli, Paolo Varriale, and Antopnio Iozzi. About 500 pages of history plus aces' biographies? Same book? I got mine from Schiffer, who printed it on this side of the pond.
Of more interest is another Gentilli and Varriale book, "I Reparti dell'aviazione italiana nella Grande Guerra" ("The Squadrons of the Italian Air Force in the Great War"), the offical history of the Aeronautica Militare. An amazing piece of work, with detailed squadron histories, casualties, pilots, aircraft and sometimes their serials, it's one of my treasures. My copy is in Italian and I don't know if it's available in English. Roberto and Paolo were kind enough to autograph the book before sending it on to me.
