Hi Art;
Dr. Martin O'Connor identified the Eindecker color as Methuen 30C6 in his book "Air Aces of the Austro-Hungarian Empire". This was based on the color selected on 3 separate occasions by Gottfried Banfield, who flew several of these planes during the war.
I don't have access to a Methuen book, but as depicted in the profile the color is a light greyish green.

Not sure how the various scanners and monitors between this image and the actual book have changed the color, but FWIW, 30 C6 looks something like the attached sample
