Looking at the Datafile last night, you might be right. And I've worked out that the 'missing' parts I mentioned 
are templates for the clear windscreens.

The other thing missing is the sight for Warneford's machine (shown on the box top) and the bomb rack, but I'm sure 
I've got a throttle quadrantthat will make an acceptable substitute when I do it.

There is  scope for an etched set for this kit though - I wonder if PART will do one (Having just seen their SPAD 
VII set http://www.part.pl/s72/s72251.jpg)
