It has been discussed before, Ric, and I think you can find the relevant messages by searching the site.
As I recall, most agreed that the exposed interior plywood strips were painted grey.

Subject: [WWI] Roland CII Interior
Hello,
I am just starting out with WWI modeling and am building
Eduard’s Roland CII Weekend kit. I cannot locate a source that describes
the color of the interior of the fuselage. At this point, I have it
painted CDL, but have seen information describing it being painted in light
blue. Having just joined the list, has this been discussed before and, if
so, can someone point me to the date range for the discussion?
Thanks,
Ric
