weekend in England

Well, drat the luck; we'll just miss each other.

I'll be leaving Chicago for London on 12 September and will be there
until 17 September, when I sail from Dover to France (Normandy
beaches); Portugal (hoping to meet up with Pedro and Pedor); Spain
(Cadiz & Seville); Ceuta; Casablanca; Madiera; Tenerife; Cape Verde
Islands; Senegal; Gambia; Ghana; Togo; Benin; Namibia; and Cape Town
(where I hope to meet Doug Anderson).
Yeah, I know–it's tough...but someone's gotta do it.
I'd been watching for this particular cruise itinerary for quite some
time and managed to snag a cabin nearly a year ago, so I'm really
looking forward to the voyage.

If I'd known about the Shuttleworth Pageant, I might have added that
to the trip...too late now. However, I'll be in London if anyone
wants to come in for supper or something on 13, 14, or 15 September.
Except for a trip to Stonehenge and that area on 16 September, I've
left myself essentially unplanned in the UK...must pay homage to 'Old
Bill' at the IWM, of course.

Contact me off list if you want to arrange a meet...

Karen
