When you say that the wings and control surfaces were too thin, do you mean
that they broke? <<
No. What I mean is that they were too thin to be believable in scale. There
was barely enough material to glue the struts onto. I reality, no way the
main spar holds up in flight without having a strength to weight ratio like
magnesium. Thickness aside, even the airfoil section was so flat as to be
not structurally sound.
