I haven¹t posted any pictures yet, but there are some of the WW1 48th scale
class at
http://www.aeroscale.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&
req=viewtopic&topic_id=148277&page=1
There were only four 72nd entries, and I cannot think up a judging scheme
that explains some of the awards in that class.
Had lots of interest in the GWICC display, Ed Banham¹s R-planes saw to that,
wish I had a £ for every picture taken.
I met up with Nigel, Hugh, Dave and Rowan, but missed Costas. Rowan (Pheon)
is expecting to release more decals soon, and up the release rate when he¹s
settled after his move to France, he is also going into parts.
On Monday I visited the Conservation hall at the RAF Museum Cosford, to get
a look at the Dolphin they are building. The fuselage is mostly complete,
the engine is in pieces but looks like it is getting close to being put back
together. The LVG C.VI is there too, with its wings off, it needs a little
TLC on the wood panels. They have a Gnome Omega almost ready for display.
One of the guys there helped erect the FE at Hendon, and had a bomb rack on
the bench, having been asked to check that it was accurate. Anyone know of
any drawings for the 4x 20lb rack?
regards
Steve
If I didn't spend so much time on line
I'd get some models finished
