Where? It looks like heavily chipped brown paint to me. Something quite 
unusual in Fokker paint schemes, I might add... I'm not a fan of this style 
of heavy weathering, since the airplane looks stained and worn in a way that 
WW1 aircraft didn't looked like. Crumpled fabric, oil stains along longerons 
and sometimes a bit of patching up is acceptable, but this exhaust smoke, 
WW2 Japanese style paint chipping is out of place in this period of 
technology.

The Roden Fokker is a nice kit, not perfect, but with a little work it can 
be made into a great looking model. Keep on it! I know you can build lovely 
models!
