myself and decided that it was a crap solution for exactly those reasons
(plus that they're very easily kinked and very hard to restore).<
Missed that. It may have been before I was born. To be honest, neither the
wires or the kit are at fault - something that big is bound to have wibbly
tendencies unless the struts are grossly overscale. The PE wires are fine of
themselves inasmuch as they are very strong. They spring back into shape and
won't kink unless you tread on them.Even I'm not that clumsy. Yet.
A workable solution would be a rigid jig to hold the wings and fuselage in
the resting position even when inverted, and to enlarge the pre-formed holes
slightly so the larger wires fit more securely. Too late now.
