[WWI] Ago C.II colour schemes

Thanks to all those who replied. There is a picture of a C.II in flight in
Imrie¹s German Army Air Service, that shows the fuselage & Booms lighter
than the wings, so I think I¹ll go with CDL for the wings and tail, and pale
blue/grey for the rest.

Does the datafile have any internal detail or pictures of the underwing
radiator? I¹ll have to look out for a copy at the Hendon Model show on
Sunday GWICC will be there Sopwiths & Fokkers are the theme

The kit is the Joystick vacform. I started cutting it out many years ago,
the impetus to pick it up again came from one of my model club members, who
is doing a display of twin-boomers for our club show in September.

Now I¹ve got the bug, I need to get hold of some more kits and do a
three-bay C.I and a C.III

Von Fremery I had heard that, but it was in the Encyclopedia Fernettica,
so I didn¹t really believe it. :)
regards
Steve

Probably the plywood was covered with doped fabric, as in the case of
Pfalz and Roland fuselages. The colours were -as per datafile- pale
straw yellow (CDL?) with dark edgings, or perhaps, pale blue/grey as
in Roland C.IIs.
Which kit are you building? Or perhaps a scratchbuilt Ago?
Did you knew that Von Frémery, one of the designers, was born in Buenos
Aires?
