It's Memorial Day weekend here in the U.S.A.
In the San Francisco Bay area, Girl and Boy Scouts traditionally place flags on the graves of servicemen and women at the Golden Gate National Cemetery this weekend, and as a scout leader, I get to help.
Many WWI veterans are buried there, and as a tribute, I thought I would attach photos of a couple of interesting headstones I spotted among the thousands.
