[WWI] Perfection in Modeling

Mike,
In my case I have, no exageration, a metal trunk full of kits that were started and then destroyed in a move. Like you, I have kept them either to make me fix them out of guilt or (my excuse) to use as spares for when I restart the projects. One would think that with all the models I would have enough spares to make an entire WW1 squadron. I probably do.
Anyway, I have learnt my lesson. The DH6 is going in a special box. You guessed it, I am about to move again.

Merrill, Diego,
I sent this tongue-in cheek, even including a smiley or at least my best attempt at one. I have no arguments with your opinion, Diego. AMS is the reason I finish so few and have so many 90% completions. I am never completely happy with those I do finish as there's usually something I didn't do right. Then, there's laziness too. I don't expect either will change much in the future. I stall out at some point where I haven't completely doped out what I need to do to get what I want or am interrupted by a prolonged absence from the workbench, such as traveling. When my interest fades, it seems easier to start a new kit rather than pick up where I left off. I've got a long ago unfinished Aeroclub FE.2B that was coming along nicely. It sits on a shelf under the workbench making me feel guilty every time I pass it. In writing this, I taking it out and placing it on the bench. It will be done.
Mike
