Douglas, had you asked yesterday I could have taken some close-ups at Old
Warden today.
Not much OT stuff flying there today as the wind was a bit too string and
gusting, but the SE5a and Bristol Fighter displayed.
Met up with Nigel Rayner, and spent a while chatting to him while we watched
some ot stuff flying.
regards
Steve

Subject: [WWI] SE5a Panels
Gentlemen
I have a query.
I am currently building an RAF SE5a. Looking at the photographs in the
Windsock datafiles there are two panels in tandem on the starboard cowling
immeadiately in front of windscreen. The largest (aft) appears to be glazed.
Is this indeed clear? What were the purposes of these two panels?
All help greatfully received.
Douglas
