Have any of you tried Future(Klear) and normal food colors to get
various shade of clear acrylic. I have been using this method for
years and it is much cheaper than any of the bottled clear paints.
You can mix the food colors to get almost any color you may need.
Brush or airbrush as you would with Future by its self.

I also switched from 10X to MEX for my liquid adhesive. A pint of MSK
(HomeDepot) costa less than a bottle of 10X and does the same thing.

Just two more ways to make a hard earned hobby dollar go a bit further.

Just for grins, any other commercial products substitute used to
replace our higher priced hobby items?

There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
