I was told a long time ago by a gentleman from the Corrosion Control
(paint shop) division to never use any thing but the thinner that the
manufacturer provided for their paints. It is chemically matched to
the paint. You can use anything that is cheap for clean up. I have
followed that rule of thumb for many years now, and it does seam to
work very well.
