I'm pretty sure all or most of the Camels of 209 had red noses, I read a German pilot's memoirs, and remember him mentioning red nosed Camels, identifying them as "the anti-Richtofen crowd", based on rumors that there was a 'special' unit to 'get' Richtofen. FWIW
