[WWI] No more 1:72 from Roden

     Ow, that hurts.
     Yeah, we had a good run there. It will still take the 1/48ers years to catch up.
     Yes, Eduard, Pegasus and Toko/Roden have been very good to us. During the '70s, when Airfix and Revell had run their course with WWI,  it looked like the little guys with rigging had lost out to jets forever.
     Then vac kits began to appear, and my interest revived. Those and the resin planes that followed are still some of the best and most interesting kits.
      But when Toko came along, we got good quality and affordability along with the variety. They will be missed.

Sad news for all you 1:72 builders
 
A fellow modeler who visited the Nürnberg fair 
reports that Roden will not produce new kits in this scale any more. They'll 
concentrate to 1:48 and 1:32
