A number of years ago I decided on my limits.

I came up with a list of 100 representational aircraft types, single and two-seaters, to fill two wall display cases of 50 each. All the types are operational except for a Curtiss Jenny trainer. Also, the pilot considered the top 'ace' from the major belligerents would be represented by a plane he flew. In addition, I would build 5 large bombers to display outside the wall cases.

I now have acquired all but two of the kits (Caproni Ca4 and Farman Shorthorn). I do replace some of the earlier models as better kits become available. The old ones go to my grown son who seems to love them.

Twenty kits are now completed, about thirty more await rigging. Ten are in varying stages of construction. I'm now actively working on the DFW B.I I got from Buz.

I also vary things with OT vehicles and vessels, plus a collection of 1/144 ot planes I give to a friend of mine who seems to love them.

                                  J.R. Boye, now 54
