I did the Hit Kit version some time back and I recall doing it light on 
purpose, but failed to recall the reason why, just that there was one.

Due to balance purposes, sheeting the fuselage in 1/64 ply is just too 
heavy, so well sanded 1/32 balsa will have to do. I had good luck with a 
light stain and varnish finish on balsa with my A-H Alb D.II (early 53 
series) so I'm leaning toward the Polish version right now.
