Hi all,

Just wanted to be polite and not lurk too long without introducing myself.
My name's Bob Botham and I have had a lot of experience as a fussy model
railroader, or rather, modeler of railroad equipment. I have been
interested in WWI aircraft for some time, and I am now putting together
research for my first project, a Nieuport 17.

I have the Eduard 1/48 Vieux Charles boxing, but I don't know yet whose a/c
I plan on modeling.

My goal this summer is simply to put together enough information (I ordered
the salient Datafiles from Albatros Pub. and have to say their customer
service was excellent) and materials to get started. This brings me to my
first question:

1. What is "future?" I see this product mentioned often but not pictured.
To add to the confusion you should see the google results for "future."

Okay, that's a good start, but I have one more:

2. In modeling railroad equipment, including scratchbuilding in styrene, I
have always used Tenax or MEK or other thin styrene bonder in a glass
capillary needle-pointed tube (I'll post a pic if anyone cares). Is there a
reason everyone seems to just use CA on aircraft?

Thank you so much--I promise not to be a constant irritant around here, only
an occasional one...

Respectfully,
Bob
