Tim,
The position of the internal bomb rack is correct. Assuming you're referring to the triangular opening on the bottom behind the gunner, that's actually a tunnel that the gunner could fire through to hit enemy aircraft behind and below. Bombs couldn't be carried that far aft as the c/g would be dangerously affected.
