Tim,

Here is the link on the website about German Bombs:
http://www.wwi-models.org/Photos/Various/Bombs-german/index.html

The bombs were a blue-gray of gray-blue in color. The internal bomb racks were for smaller bombs that were stacked on top of each other and released through the fuselage. I have some information on this, but I'm at work right now and don't have access to it. Perhaps someone else may chime with the information that you need.

HTH,

Buz

I am building the Roden Gotha G-III and have a few questions. What color were the German bombs painted? The kit has you paint them grey but I seem to have seen them in various other colors. Next, according to the kit, the internal bomb rack is located between the pilot and rear gunner position. Are these hand held bombs that would be thrown over the side, or should the rack actually be located behind the rear gunner position and dropped out the large opening in the bottom of the aircraft? Thanks for any help. Tim
