Subtle effects are always the best. I shall try that on my Pup.

Diego,
Thank you for your kind comments. I have to tell you that using the
1/64" drafting tape really does the the job for the rib detail on the wings.
As I said in the "Pup" build text. Once I have removed the original rib
detail I mark the rib location on the wings utilizing the scale drawings in
the DATAFILE. I then place the drafting tape on those marked locations and
proceed to paint over the drafting tape. Once the paint dries I then remove
the drafting tape. Now I have subtle rib detail from the paint build up
around the drafting tape. If some the paint build up is too pronounced I
then lightly sand it for the desired effect. I have attached a photo of
that process when I was building my SHORT 184. One last thing. If you
can't find drafting tape they do make masking tape in that size and it give
you the same results.
