Yup...#2 already done. A blue corsair. Couldn't get him to paint it in tri-color camo. Kept saying "Make it a blue one." So far both are still in one piece...a testament to how sturdy these little models are. I fear he will have to wait a few more years for a biplane model.....although he has numerous biplane toys all over the house....those must have come from his mother ;-))

Looks like a happy modeler to me! If the model survives long enough, it
shall become a cherished memento of childhood. However, it's more probable
that it'll end crashing soon enough... time to start the 2nd model!
And BTW, get him a decent biplane. It's an acquired taste, but the boy need
to know how real aeroplanes look.
