Hello Tom and John
Have a read of 'Steel Chariots of the Desert' by S.C. Rolls, this should help you out a lot with interior description, plus how 
the crew operated between them to fight the vehicle, how equipment was stored etc.
I am about 2/3 through my copy obtained through amazon uk.
