I was just responding to Mike V's request for info from OTF 4:4.
Mssrs Franks, Bailey and Duiven agree with Kilduff's article in the case
of Hans
Hofacker (whose brother Wilhelm was later killed in August 1918 as a member
of Jasta 65.) In the case of Johann Dierle (whose twin brother Anton
was killed
on 5 May 1917 as a member of Jasta 24) the article cites an eyewitness
report
that seems to agree in substance with Neil O'Connor's account in "Aviation
Awards of Imperial Germany" vol VI. However, O'Connor corroborates the
date of death as 29 July 1918. I don't have O'Connor's books, but found
this
at http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/people/20762-twins-air-service.html.
