Or you could do what I have done which is an idea I got from Harry Woodmans book on building wooden aircraft; I wrap cotton around the cylinders to represent the fins. So far no-one has noticed that the cylinders have a single fin that winds itself up the cylinder rather than a number of separate fins.

 The engines on the Nieuports are nice, it's a shame Eduard didn't take the time to do the DR.I right.  
 
I didn't think the Nieuport engines were any better than the Dr.I's - they have no cooling fins!  I substituted the spare Le Rhone from a Rodent Camel which is far superior in my opinion.
