I have these decals on a 1.48 Pup that 
is 3/4 finished. I didn't have a
problem with the translucency...I had 
used a based of gloss white that
seemed to solve the problem. The milky 
substance also drive me nuts, but it
dried ok.

    The translucency problem I've had 
was worst on the 2 1/72nd Pups I did 
with these decals - I had undercoated 
with white, which helped, but then I 
should have slipped white diks under the 
cockades because I used 2 sets of them 
and the black cheques still showed 
through.

    OTOH I've had other Blue Rider 
decals that performed perfectly in all 
decally ways.
