Thanks, that'd at least give me the opportunity to know that I wasn't the only one to screw up (if I do!)

Not really. It's the railing that had me so frustrated. The WEM brass includes a mix of bar rail and chain rail types. The instructions give zero help at deciding which goes where, and IIRC there isn't enough of either type to use one around the perimeter of the ship (forecastle and quarterdeck) and the other around the lowest level of the superstructure.
 
Hard to explain - I'm not a shippie. However, I really *would* like to finish the damned thing, if only to shut up Shane tE and apologise to Bob.

Thanks Marc, I knew that there'd be a helpfull shippie somewhere - the WW1 list was always the best place to look.
