I've been known to fling a belaying pin or two, but usually only at those on the opposite political spectrum.  There are far too few ship builders out there to reduce their number with an improperly flung wooden object.
 
Shane, regarding the railings, You'll find that most ships do have three rails on the main decks and two rails on the upper decks.  More things to hold onto before one gets washed overboard, you know.
 
There've been a few nice builds of the Konig class recently photographed on othe sites.  I'll try to compilet them and send them to you.  Is there any particular area of the ship that is giving you more problems than others -- other than the railing bit.
 
The Heretic shouldn't be piling on though, since he has a lovely model of a somewhat OT sailing ship waiting for completion.
