[WWI] 2009

This should make you feel better .. I had to walk to the hall through the
snow with five kids (two in a double stroller) to pack up the gear about
three hours ago ... get there and of course no one else is there, so I get
started on the packing ... get my stuff done and start on the drums ... two
others show up and just as we finish the singer shows. .. I then had to get
the kids home to meet the guys so we can unload .. 1/2 hour later after an
uphill walk with no plowed sidewalks as I get back home the guys arrive and
one car got stuck in the alley behind my house and we had to hump the gear
the last block ... second car had to take a long run and just made it after
a few tries but didn;t even attempt the driveway . . just got most of the
stuff set up again.

It could be worse though, we could have played one of the villages around
here and still be stuck there waiting for a boat to bring us home

There is a lot to be said for having a set of gear that just stays in the
van for gigs ...

Bob
