[WWI] Is a vac-form worth trying?

Hi Rob,
You can always take the easy way out and stick one of the Airfix pilot
figures in there with a stick on his butt attached to the floor, then at
least no one will be able to see that there isn't an interior in there!

Vac provide many benefits, and drawbacks too. If you have the patience, and
a well stocked spares box ( I do not know the quality of this kit) then yes,
by all means have a go. $6 is not too bad a price for some fun and
developing a new skill.

Hi,

Saw a vac-form Martinsyde for sale on line for $6 and thought I'd like to
give it a go.

I'm a decidedly average modeler.

I tried a resin kit once, and broke pretty much every strut whilst trying to
get them off the blocks, and put the kit away till I got better/more
patient.

Do you think it would be worth trying vac-form?

Is there a lot of scratchbuilding etc. involved?? I feel comfortable making
struts now ;)

I won't be doing much to the interior, its for hanging from the ceiling.

TIA
